This bobtail shirt dress from Motel Rocks is definitely doing the rounds on the blogger circuit at the moment and I’m loving seeing it styled in so many different ways. It’s actually a long dress, so I’ve seen it worn buttoned up with simple heels or open as a longline jacket. Because of my petite frame (I’m a 5″4 midget), letting the fabric hang loose kinda makes me look like I’ve raided my Dad’s wardrobe so instead, I decided to leave a few buttons undone and tie the ends together to create a cropped style, worn with slightly high-waisted jeans. I absolutely adore the loose-fit, easy-wear style and the mesh checked detail – it makes a quiet statement. I wore this outfit for a “date night” with my brother (I treated him to dinner and the cinema because it’s rare that we get to spend quality time together) so I kept the rest of the look pretty low-key, with low heeled sandals and plain accessories – though lots of silver, as always!
How would you style the bobtail shirt?
Love, Beth xo.
