Another outfit shot in the beautiful grounds of Grand Villa Argentina, Dubrovnik. There were so many lovely picturesque corners, including this one – neutral stone steps in an expansive courtyard full of orange, rosemary and bay leaf plants; the flavours of a Mediterranean kitchen.
These photos were taken during the golden hour (when the sun gives off a warm glow, my absolute favourite time of day) just before we had dinner in one of the hotel’s exquisite restaurants – a Peruvian menu full of spice and delicious tropical flavours (see some foodie snaps in this post). Again, due to the heat, I found myself choosing loose and light fabrics, namely chiffon and viscose. I opted for the draped white blouse that I bought for my Auntie’s wedding and some khaki-coloured shorts with a paperbag waist. These shorts are actually the first khaki-coloured item in my wardrobe but I think they work really well with tan accessories like these beautiful Guess court shoes.
And we should probably talk about that art deco shell clutch bag. Isn’t it beautiful? I absolutely love the shape and silver hardware detail, which matches perfectly with my bangles and necklace. It’s such a unique design and at £39, is a steal too!
Love, Beth xo.
