I love heels. A lot. And if I’m really honest, I don’t have that many pairs. Maybe because I rarely have an occasion where I actually need to wear them (though sometimes I’ll wear them anyway) or maybe because on average, they’re a pretty expensive addition to my footwear collection. To me, it’s an absolute bargain if I manage to to snap up a pair of heels for less than £60. We pay a price to look good (and for our feet to hurt) …
However, if you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I recently treated myself to these gorgeous black strappy sandals (here) from Zara which at £29.99, I just had to have. A simple pair of black heeled sandals should be a wardrobe staple and yet I haven’t owned a pair in years. I’ve just never found the right ones! I love the simplicity of these and I love the knotted detail too, a twist on a classic style. They’re a luxurious faux suede and they fit like a dream, true to size.
… and if you know me, you’ll know I don’t do anything in moderation. So I started to search online for more affordable pairs of heels (I’m set on growing quite the collection this summer) and it’s Missguided that keeps popping up on my radar. They have such an impressive selection and the most expensive pair is £45! I want them all. So while I save up in an attempt to fulfil my Carrie Bradshadaw-esque desires, I compiled an edit of my favourites below:
Which are your favourites? Are there any other retailers you’d recommend for affordable heels?
