Stage one of creating my festival outfit was a trip to the flagship Superdry store on Regent Street, where I met up with Lois, Clare and Laura in the VIP basement and browsed a vast array of sequin skirts, floaty bohemian maxi dresses and denim in all cuts and styles. I have to admit, although a lot of Superdry‘s stock is loudly branded, I was surprised to see so many understated pieces in the Summer collection – which are definitely more my style. So I picked out these gorgeous, easy-wear dungarees and a simple white tee to layer underneath. The quality and versatility of both pieces is pretty impressive and they’ve already become staples in my Summer wardrobe.
Next was about choosing the accessories. These tan gladiators from JustFab caught my eye immediately; I love the colour (tan is my go-to colour for accessories in the warmer weather) and I knew the gold detail would match the jewellery I had chosen to wear. The shirt and bag are pieces I picked out from Topshop at Westfield Stratford City, who kindly gave us gift vouchers to complete our festival outfits. I met up with Lois and Amy on a weekday evening and between catching up (read: nattering and getting distracted), we spent 2 hours rushing between our favourite stores before closing time (which definitely isn’t easy in a shopping centre as vast as Westfield). We actually hit Topshop first where I managed to spend my voucher in one go (within the first 10 minutes, to be specific) and after that, scoured Primark, Zara, River Island and finally Forever 21 (which we wish we’d visited earlier as it turns out we wanted everything in store) in search of accessories for Lois and Amy – who thankfully both managed to snap up gorgeous bucket bags at the last minute.
I wore my sunglasses from Bailey Nelson and tied the shirt around my waist, which I was definitely thankful I had when it got a little chilly in the evening. And those gorgeous metallic tattoos? They’re still going strong over a week later!
Thank you to the lovely Lois and Amy for these beautiful photos, proof that it’s definitely time I invested in a new lens …
Love, Beth xo.
