Just a super-quick ‘preview’ of a shoot I did on LFW Day 1 (mad, I know!) with a lovely photographer called Kace (Instagram: @yokace & contact: email@example.com). I am absolutely honoured to be collaborating with Merci Me, allowing me access to their extensive range of beautiful designs to be styled at my own leisure. It’s a dream come true! While the ‘Main‘ collection is all about clean cuts, power shapes and dramatic silhouettes, the ‘Aceng‘ collection (a dedication to the designer’s late sister) embraces bold prints and luxurious thick, rich cotton – making each piece a statement in its own right. Here, I’m wearing 2 pieces from the ‘Main’ collection; the ‘Rose Crop’ and the ‘Hyacinth Parted Skirt’. I knew from my first meeting with the designer Mercy and her wonderful team that these 2 pieces were my favourites in the whole collection. And they work so well together! The cropped length of the top shows off the beautiful shape of the dramatically-parted skirt (not for the faint-hearted!) and the polyester material of both styles allows for the beautiful flowing movement of the shapes which we were lucky enough to capture when a gust of wind blew mid-shot.
I can’t wait to share more photos with you!
And a huge thank you to Mercy Ogole for contacting and inviting me into the Merci Me family, labelling her collection as my “second wardrobe”. Proof that dreams really do come true!
Love, Beth xo.
