So firstly I should apologise for my lack of posts this week. Despite having loads of ideas about what to shoot and write about, I’m finding myself so short of time these days; it seems that achieving good grades at college, keeping fit, maintaining a part time job (as well as trying to squeeze in a social life) are not factors of life that positively correlate. Something has to give! And right now (priorities almost in tact), it’s my fitness. I write this as a very soft and squidgy human, ‘soft’ and ‘squidgy’ being two alliterative adjectives that I one day hope will not apply to me. But for now, I’m grinning and bearing it. And my dwindling social life? It’s a work in progress – I have plans for 2 evenings this week that involve alcohol (!?!?) …
1. Ripped denim (from Topshop) and hints of turquoise (comment below if you’d like to know where a piece of jewellery is from – it’s all from different places!)
3. A layered look for what was forecasted to be a warm and sunny day (and actually turned out to be freezing cold and very grey): tee from Whistles, jeans from Miss Selfridge, blazer from Mango, snood from Urban Outfitters, bag from a Thai market
5. Yep, in case you’re wondering, it’s real. I’ve fantasised for years about getting a little heart tattoo and I finally took the plunge on Thursday of last week, when I had a day off college. It was excruciatingly painful (more so than I prepared myself for and more so than anyone else will admit!) but worth every wince – I absolutely adore it and keep stealing glances at my wrist just to confirm it’s as perfect as the last time I looked
6. I actually took this photo in Morocco but I posted it to my social media profiles today, as I was looking through my holiday photos and realising how much I missed the delicious fresh food that I enjoyed courtesy of the oustanding Four Seasons Resort in Marrakech. It’s photos like this that make me realise how much I’ve fallen off the healthy bandwagon!
Anyway, I think it’s now time for a bit of Sunday evening online shopping – I have absolutely nothing to wear on my planned nights out this coming week and I’m panicking ever so slightly. But I’m super excited – it’s finally time to utilise my legal ID …
Love, Beth xo.
