So as most of you will know, I went on a whistle-stop trip to Paris this weekend with Crabtree & Evelyn (more on that later) and in the short time that we were there (a little over 24 hours to be exact), we managed to squeeze in a mini tour of the city’s major landmarks – courtesy of Crabtree‘s very own branded taxi (head to my Twitter to see the photo, you don’t want to miss it). And I’ll just come right out and say it – I fell in love with Paris, quite possibly within the first 60 seconds of my arrival.
Visiting The Louvre was really quite special. I’ve seen countless photos on Instagram of people posing in front of it (standing on a little black box in order to capture the full scale) and being one of the most famous Parisian landmarks, it was an absolute must-see. When I stepped out of the car, I experienced a similar feeling to when I first set foot in Times Square, New York. Having seen hundreds of images of these globally recognised tourist hotspots, it’s actually quite surreal to be standing there yourself, seeing it with your own eyes. I felt like I was on a movie set.
Anyway, aside from staring up at the beautiful buildings in awe, one of Crabtree‘s interns (and a damn good photographer), Melissa, offered to shoot my outfit. I hadn’t planned to shoot my look that day but how could I pass up an opportunity to be photographed in front of The Louvre? I simply couldn’t. So here I am, bundled up against the bitter cold (it was a good several degrees colder than England) and proudly parading around with my new arm candy, a beautiful Michael Kors tote bag that I’ve been dreaming about for years. As it’s one of the more ‘affordable’ designer handbag brands, I know some people think these totes have become almost too common to be a luxury. But to me? It’s priceless and it’s perfect. I find myself handling it like I would a small child, with utmost care and more affection than I’d ever publicly admit. Kindly gifted to me by Monnier Frères, it serves as a symbol; a little reminder of how far I’ve come. I look at it and smile, feeling proud and happy – two emotions that I rarely feel simultaneously. And that’s pretty special.
Love, Beth xo.

Amazing look. I love every piece, that coat and scarf look so cosy and stylish, your jeans really complement your amazing figure and those boots are beautiful. And that bag speaks for itself, such a treat, you really deserve it. I love Michael Kors and I was screaming for you to get that one when you snapchatted that you couldn’t decide! Haha. I’m glad you enjoyed Paris, I agree it’s like stepping into Town Square or even just London, such beautiful and iconic places, I’d love to go back there.
