Excuse the pun but this really is the perfect A-Line skirt. I think I have a total of 2 skirts (including this one), as I can never seem to find the right shape; one that can flatter my waist without enlarging my hips and one that’s actually an appropriate length (flashing is uncomfortable for everyone involved). This one might be just a little short but the supple suedette fabric and the button-up front has won me over big time.
I also love this cropped blouse – the sleeve length is perfect and it’s a beautiful lightweight fabric for Summer (weather like today every day please). It’s actually a high-neck style but I strategically ironed it into a V-neck as it’s more flattering for smaller busts – and it allowed me to show off my dainty gold jewellery! Paired with a simple nude shoulder bag and matching ballets flats (that have ripped my feet to shreds – but shh, no one has to know), I just know that I’ll be repeating this outfit time and time again over the coming few months.
Oh – and appreciate those beautiful dusky pink roses too. £7.95 from a flower stall just around the corner. That counts as expenses, right?
Love, Beth xo.
