More holiday photos – and I can’t promise this will be the last post either …
I’ve shown you the photos I took on my iPhone (have a look here) but I thought I’d put together a little post for the odd photo I took on my camera (a Canon 600D if any of you were wondering). Although I don’t use my camera anywhere near as much as I should (it’s way too heavy to carry around and too bulky to fit in most of my bags), each time I do, I’m reminded just how brilliant it is. No other device beats the clarity of the photos or the vibrancy of the colours, I just wish it was a little smaller! I’m still lusting after the Olympus PEN E-PL7 (it’s been over a year and counting) which I’m hoping to treat myself to as a Christmas present but for now, my iPhone 6 isn’t too bad when I’m on the move.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these little moments I captured during my time in Dubrovnik.
Though it was far too hot to be out walking in daytime heat, we were desperate to explore the Old City. We climbed steps and walked down alleyways (sporadically ducking into doorways to seek shade) until we were dripping in sweat but it was so lovely to go beyond the tourist areas and see where the locals live.
Just looking at these photos make me feel nostalgic and this trip was (just) less than a month ago. I’ve got a serious case of wanderlust! I’ve grown up travelling, visiting different places and I can’t help feeling like it’s ingrained within me. I just want to explore. We live in such a big wide world and there’s so much to see, to do and to experience.
Over the course of my lifetime, I fully intend to see as much of the world as I possibly can. And of course, I’d like to think I’ll be forever documenting these little adventures right here – on this blog, my little space on the internet. I can only hope that you’ll join me.
Love, Beth xo.
