So this was my outfit for travelling to Morocco. When I arrived, it definitely wasn’t as warm as I was expecting it to be so I was very glad I was wearing this slouchy jumper from ASOS, which is not only cosy and super easy to throw on at the last minute, it’s also the most gorgeous shape with slightly winged sleeves that taper at the wrist. And I can’t get enough of the zip detail! I paired it with my Topshop ripped boyfriend jeans (my only pair of jeans that aren’t skin-tight so the ones I naturally wear to death on holiday) as they’re comfy and perfect for flying. Unusually, I wore heels (you’d normally spot me in tatty flat sandals) because a) I was grateful for the warmth of winter boots and b) I felt that my outfit needed ‘spicing’ up a bit! I took my favourite structured bag from Zara (notice the zip theme yet?) which is a beautiful neutral suede that goes with everything and added a bright lip (Lady Danger by Mac) which picked up the orange tone in my scarf – a coincidental coordination, I promise!
It was a perfectly comfortable travel outfit and yet I still felt ‘nice’, a newly significant part of my criteria when getting dressed, thanks to my fabulous friend Polly. She recently taught me the importance of feeling happy and confident in what you’re wearing and I can honestly say her advice/gentle encouragement will stay with me for life!
Love, Beth xo.
