Guess who’s back …
I honestly can’t even remember the last time I published a full outfit post, life has been a little crazy recently. But I’m back (for good) and hopefully I’ll be posting a lot more regularly.
Firstly, I’ll apologise for the strange and varied colours in these photos – I decided to shoot indoors to avoid the cold and couldn’t get the lighting quite right. And I never really edit my photos because I’m so rubbish at it so I didn’t know how to fix the horrible yellow-y tinge!
This is pretty much a template of my winter wardrobe; I just tend to vary the jumpers and boots (okay, maybe scarves and bags too). I’ve absolutely lived in my oversized cocoon coat from Missguided (see here) and I would have bought it in another colour if they’d had my size left but having seen this one on the beautiful Victoria from InTheFrow, I just knew I had to have it. When I first looked, it had completely sold out but after checking back several times, I managed to snap one up in a teeny tiny size 4 (which is not my size at all) but as the style is super-oversized, it’s pretty much a perfect fit.
I’m sure you recognise this Whistles jumper, the birthday present that I’ve hardly taken off. I love the easy-wear, loose style; perfect to throw on over a pair of skinny jeans – like this gorgeous ripped pair from Quiz Clothing. This is my first time wearing them but they fit like a dream and I just know they’ll become a wardrobe staple! For extra warmth, I wore my lovely chunky black scarf, knitted by a friend and given to me as a Christmas present. If that’s not talent, I don’t know what is!
Oh and also note the pointed Zara boots – I treated myself to these in the sale after having had my eye on them for quite some time. They didn’t have a size 5 so I picked up the only pair left -a size 4- and although it’s a tight squeeze, it’s totally worth it!
Love, Beth xo.
